Oswell’s has recently changed their offer, moving away from only selling designer kitchen products to a more eclectic, high quality home and gift product range. The range has a wider appeal and an extended market beyond it’s Barnard Castle premises in County Durham so a change in retail strategy was embraced utilising e-commerce. To reflect this shift and the new offer Piers & Dominic rebranded Oswell’s and designed and developed a website in tandem.
The client has a family history in retail, going back three generations –their Grandfather being the current business’ namesake. With this heritage and the product range in mind, we took influences from vintage retail graphics to help bridge the gap between traditional service and modern online retail techniques.
